It was a pleasure to work with our returning client again on this special project. This time, we were involved in designing the new brand identity for a hotel converted from a former office building located across from St. Stephen’s Basilica. The hotel’s rose emblem draws inspiration from the floral motifs adorning the ceiling of St. Stephen’s Basilica in Budapest, while the distinctive serif typeface used for the word “Basiliq” conveys timeless, classic values.
We developed the hotel’s complete visual identity—including the wayfinding system and the branding elements for both the hotel and the bar—with a focus on preserving the unique character and harmony of the two building complexes.
