Typography is a brand’s visual voice—it gives character and helps it stand out in a market where many people use the same popular typefaces. A custom typeface is not just an aesthetic choice: it is a key element of recognizability, consistency, and visual unity.
The foundation of MVM’s new typeface is the 23.5-degree slant that also appears in the company’s logo—this corresponds to the Earth’s axial tilt (also known as the ecliptic). The design subtly follows the curves of the logo, while the more defined, angular cuts strengthen both the company’s professional credibility and legibility. The development of the typeface was carried out through close collaboration: the work of the Graphasel design studio was guided by experienced typographer Oszkár Boskovitz, while testing was conducted by the Lounge Design team and MVM’s in-house graphic designers. The result is a type family created in three weights, offering flexible application across various communication platforms.
