Opera Gin

Our team won the Red Dot Brand and Communication Award in 2019 with the label design of Opera Gin Budapest.

Opera Gin was named after the Neo-Renaissance Hungarian State Opera, which is one of the jewels of Budapest on Andrássy Avenue. The family of Bálint Dámossy, who founded the gin distillery, has been living in the immediate vicinity of the Opera for several generations; he performed his first trial distillations there.

Theatrical richness – this is a common feature of personal attachment and the eleven spices that give the gin its characteristic taste, which justified our conscious decision to break the Rams principles and to apply the ornate features characteristic of the building and genre.

MINIMAL MAXIMAL

Each motif of the label has a secondary meaning, which builds a sincere, elaborate and authentic story behind the brand. The innovative approach to the traditional beverage distillation is represented in the graphics by the harmonious balance of modern and classic elements.
